It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kristie Marie Emerson of Shepherdsville, Kentucky, who passed away on November 28, 2024, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Donald Corum, Sr. and Joe Ann Snawder Corum; her husband John Richard Emerson, Sr.; and her sons, Timothy Michael and Joseph Patrick Emerson.

She is survived by: her children, John R. Emerson, Jr. (Laura Elizabeth Mayor) and Jill Marie Dennison (Chad Damon Dennison); her siblings, Donna J. Corum, Michael P. Corum and Dusty Corum (Suzanne); and her granddaughters, Lily Marie Dennison and Ella Joe Dennison. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, other loving family members and many, many friends.

Visitation was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ratterman & Sons Chapel (3800 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40218).

Memorial gifts may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
