She was predeceased by: her parents, Rodman Jr. Short and Janet Short; and her brother Matt Faulkner. She is survived by: her children, Abby Curtsinger of Bardstown, Austin Witten of Shepherdsville and Taylor Bloom of Louisville; her siblings, Kristen Dawson (Glen) of Shepherdsville, Rodney Short of Louisville and Casey Faulkner of Louisville; her grandchildren, Kameron Rodriguez and Pharaoh Dorsey; her uncles, Dale Drane and Jerry Drane; her niece Sydney Hedge; and her nephew R. J. Short.
