He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Thurman and Mamie Marie Boyd Ross; and his brother David Ross. He is survived by: his wife Charlyn Ross; his children, Timothy Ross (Ivorie), Robin Ragg (Andrew) and Shauntain Bethards; and his brother William Ross. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
