It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Wesley Srnka (Shepherdsville, Kentucky), born in Moultrie, Georgia, who passed away on June 22, 2019, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Paul Martin Srnka and Hoyle Nadine Srnka (Striplin); his wife Gladys "Bjorge" Srnka; and his sister Dorethea Gayle Clements. He is survived by: his stepchildren, Dawn Buffington (Joseph), Kimberly Joseph (Michael) and Scott Edberg (Karen); his fiancé Terry Miles; and his sister Susan Lorene Thompson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and a host of dear friends.

“Also survived by a daughter he never knew, anna belle pfau, born 1971. Mrs. Pfau discovered her paternal parentage just a few months before he died through a 23andme dna test. Due to mr. Srnka's sibling's interference and his girlfriend's denial, mrs. Pfau was denied the opportunity to meet her father before he died. May he rest in heaven, and know that he would have been loved by his daughter. He also has two sons from a previous marriage to virginia ann barth that are not mentioned here.”
