He is survived by: his wife Florence Schmittler; his daughter Sandy Kay; his stepsons, Michael Wayne Ferguson and Jimmy Troutman; his daughter-in-law Frances Schmittler; his grandchildren, Johnathan, Mickey, Morgan, Samantha, Autumn and Mark; and his nieces and nephews, Brian, Joe, David Taylor, Angela, Tara and Mary.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, all services for John will be private.
