John Cooper Hurst Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 17, 2025, at the age of 81, John Cooper Hurst of Shepherdsville, Kentucky passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Cooper Hurst to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Hurst and Mary Hurst (Cooper); and his daughter Jennifer Picheo. He is survived by: his wife Becky Hurst (Wells); his daughters, Jeaninne Hurst-Emory (Tim) and Emily Hurst-Jones (Jeremy); his grandchildren, Logan Emory, Madison Picheo, Cooper Emory, Lucy Jones, Lily Jones, Lane Jones and Luke Jones; his sister Janice Hurst-Williams; his son-in-law Mike Picheo; and also Peggy Wells Greene.

Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Little Flock Baptist Church (5500 N Preston Hwy, Shepherdsville, KY 40165).
