He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Sandy (Power); his children, Marlene Nichols (Gary) of Louisville, Kentucky, Joe M. Sandy (Bunny) of Spring, Texas and Steve Sandy (Stacy) of Louisville, Kentucky.; his grandchildren, Stefanie Viada (Remi), Sean Foster (Lauren), Kristie Koons (Justin), Brett Foster (Kelly), Nicole Sandy and Courtney Sandy; and his great grandchildren, Katie, Elizabeth, Daniel Foster, Zeke, Brielle Foster, Isabel, Theo Viada, Joe and Charles Koons.
