Jayne Gies Woodring Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jayne Gies Woodring of Shepherdsville, Kentucky, who passed away on November 18, 2024, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Gies, Jr. and Muriel Helen Gies (Bell); her siblings, Tom Gies and Barbara Peck; and her in-laws, Pat Warner, John Peck and Lynn Gies.
She is survived by: her husband Jim Woodring; her sons, Paul Woodring (Katie), Adam Woodring (Clara), Jeremy Woodring (Sara) and Jess Branham (Anthony); her grandchildren, Charles, Ava, John, Harper, Everly and Franklin; her pets, Bugsy, Albert, Gunner and Bodhi; and her siblings, Andy Gies, III, Carolyn Donato (Luke), Carl Gies (Kendra), Suellen Warner and Becky Gies. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other dear family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Little Flock Baptist Church (5500 N Preston Hwy, Shepherdsville, KY 40165).
