She was predeceased by: her brother Joseph; her husband John William Cowan; and her siblings, Joan Tobey, Mary Ellen Adams, Woody Starkey and Donald Starkey.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Cowan (Barb), Patty Hagan (Mitchell), Kim Cowan, Eddie Cowan and Leigh Shader (Rob); her grandchildren, Matthew, Alex, Patrick (Amanda), Joel and Sophie (Josh); her great grandchildren, Aaron, Levi and Lydia; her sisters, Nancy Larson (Fred) and Shirley Hile Schlotterback; and her sister-in-law Lois Starkey. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and other dear family and friends.
In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hebron Presbyterian Church or Bernheim Arboretum.
