He is survived by: his parents, Beverly Will (David) of Louisville and James Smothers Sr. of Carson City; his sisters, Julie Pierce (John) of Reno, Jennifer Campbell (Chris) of El Paso and Kelly Will (Matt) of Louisville; his stepbrother David Will (Becky); his nieces and nephews, Meghan Langat (Kip), Mollie Merine (Kalaeb), Vivienne Linville, Naomi Linville and Gwendolyn Linville; and his uncles, Rick Cundiff (Martha) and Dolores Kneller (John).
