He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce Tinnell Stamps; his son Tony Stamps; his parents, Joshua Stamps and Tinie Stamps; and his siblings, Gordon Stamps, Cornwell Stamps, Odessa King and Margaret Stamps.
He is survived by: his children, Starla Yvonne Stamps of Shepherdsville, Jefferey Thomas Stamps (Pamela) of Auburn, KY, Michelle Lynn Stamps of Shepherdsville and Jason Lee Stamps of Louisville; his siblings, Eddie Mae Creek of Auburn, KY and Johnny Stamps (Becky) of Auburn, KY; and his daughter-in-law Terry Stamps of Shepherdsville. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
