We bid farewell to Jaclyn Michelle Skaggs of Shepherdsville, Kentucky, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 5, 2025 at the age of 36. Jaclyn touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Theodore, Hazel Heilman, Jack and Pat Skaggs; her aunt Laquinta Strickland; and her niece Kyra Skaggs.
She is survived by: her parents, Michael Wayne Skaggs (Hallie) and Peggy Skaggs Jones (Jim); her siblings, Misty Schneider (Kevin) and Donnie Skaggs (Ryan-Ann); her stepsister Adona Schank (Steve); and her nieces and nephews, Austin Skaggs, Jordan Skaggs, Tyson Skaggs, Savannah Schneider, Haylee Mateo (Bryan), Hallie Schank and Delanie Schank. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, and other dear family and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N Preston Hwy, Shepherdsville, KY 40165). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
