He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Rountree and Fannie Rountree; his siblings, Leon Rountree, Gerald Rountree and Maeola Miracle; and his granddaughter Ashleigh Rountree.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Rountree; his sons, Harold Raymond Rountree Jr. (Louann) of Georgetown and Joseph Thomas Rountree of Shepherdsville; his siblings, Dairl Rountree (Lois) of Louisville, Arnold Rountree (Helena) of Shepherdsville, Barbara Whitney (Bill) of Fairdale and Shelby Rountree of Brandenburg; and his grandchildren, Harold Raymond Rountree III, Joseph Thomas Rountree Jr., Christina Ross and Tabitha Rountree. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews, family members and friends.
