He was predeceased by: his sons, Gregory Ray Armstrong and Paul Bradley Armstrong; his siblings, Opal Ryan, Orian Allen Armstrong and Royce Dean Armstrong; and his grandson Ian Armstrong.
He is survived by: his wife Louise Pugh Armstrong; his children, John Hilton (Dee), Terri Sue Armstrong and Sherri Lou Armstrong; and his sister Betty Thomas Armstrong. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.
