He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Nat and Sally Devine (Gibson); and his siblings, C. H., William, Curtis Devine and Susie Majeske.

He is survived by: his children, Kathy D. Pankey (Tony) of Harrodsburg, KY and Mark Devine of Shepherdsville, KY; his grandchildren, Angela Pankey, Anthony Neal Pankey, Ian Christian Devine and Emily Foley; and his great grandchild Shafer Mathis Pankey.
