He was predeceased by: his parents, John Joseph "Joe" Marcilliat and Evelyn Marcilliat; his sister Anne Powers; and his brother-in-law Rodger Colwell. He is survived by: his children, Michelle Marcilliat-Talai (Cyrus) of Mt. Washington and Jeffrey Marcilliat of San Francisco, California; his siblings, Phyllis Welage (Vincent), Edward "Ted" Marcilliat of Indiana and Eileen Colwell of Virginia; his brother-in-law John Powers of California; his grandsons, Tyler Dean Corbin (Jessica) and Sgt. Isaac Brennen Corbin; and his great grandchild Adalee Bright.
