She was predeceased by: her husband James E. Thomas; her parents, Robert Bollen and Martha Bollen; and her siblings, Bertie Bollen Carlisle, Jack Bollen, Leonard Bollen, Myrtle Bollen Bollen, John Bollen, Julia Mae Bollen Dorsett, Robert Bollen and Franklin Bollen.

She is survived by: her daughters, Donna Mullins (Jack) and Jennifer Shockley (Jon); her grandchildren, Richard Mullins (Amanda), Jason Mullins (Kathleen), Ashley Mullins (Jennifer), Emily Edwards (Trey) and Aurora Mullins; her great grandchildren, Lindley Lucas (Danny), Skyler Tanselle (Stephen), Alex Mullins, Jack Mullins, Madilyn Mullins, Addison Mullins, Adeline Edwards, Hudson Edwards and Everett Edwards; and her great great grandchildren, Talus Profumo and Sawyer Lucas.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Emma's Honor may be made to the Home of the Innocents, Community Based Services, 1100 East Market St., Louisville, Kentucky 40206 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
