He was predeceased by: his parents, Doyle and Margaret Barkemeyer Sr. (Phumphery); his children, Doyle Barkemeyer III and Tracy Barkemeyer; and his sisters, Connie Gossett and Barbara Crisp.
He is survived by: his wife Daisy Medley Barkemeyer; his daughter Carla Wagner (Jim); and his siblings, George Barkemeyer (Tammy), Evelyn Wesner, Anita Sarles and Cathy Raley. He is also survived by 9 granchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
