She is survived by: her husband Homer Thurman; her children, Michelle Coats, Daniel King Jr., Jason Thurman and Ricky Thurman; her parents, Sandra Laswell and Frank Laswell; and her siblings, Frank Laswell Jr. (Linnette), Rodney Simpson, Kelly Joseph, Michelle Simpson and Angela Simpson. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren.
