Donna Kay Daugherty Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 13, 2025, at the age of 69, Donna Kay Daugherty of Shepherdsville, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Vernon Swartz; her husband John Daugherty; her son Chad Parrott; her brothers, Dale Swartz and Donald; and her uncle Ron Swartz.

She is survived by: her children, Stephanie Swartz and Jason Krages Sr. (Angela); her grandchildren, Dinah Krages (Devin McKissick), Heather Farmer, Jason Krages Jr., Mikey Krages, AJ Krages, Ava Krages, Katie Barnes, Kyle Wood, Leeann and Brayden Parrott; her great grandchildren, Devin, Legend, Kameron, Zayden and Sabastian; and her siblings, Dee, Darlene, Dave and Tina.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Hardy-Close Funeral Home (285 S Buckman St, Shepherdsville, KY 40165). A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Chapel of Hardy-Close Funeral Home (285 S Buckman St, Shepherdsville, KY 40165). A burial will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at the Highland Memory Gardens.
