It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Deacon Joe L. Mendoza of Shepherdsville, Kentucky, who passed away on January 5, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Mendoza and Nieves Mendoza; and his siblings, Faustino Mendoza, John Mendoza, Mary Mendoza and Lupe Seip.
He is survived by: his wife Grace Jasso Mendoza; his children, Mark A. Mendoza, Jaime A Mendoza and Georgiana T. Mendoza Bulanda (Theodore); his grandchildren, Jaime A. Mendoza (Amanda), Guadalupe J. Mendoza, Joseph M. Mendoza, Jessica T. Bulanda and Elizabeth G. Mendoza; and his siblings, Carmen Mendoza of Brownsville, Texas, Amado Mendoza (Kim) of Weslaco, Texas, Martina Morales (Robert) of Browsnville, Texas, Antonio Mendoza of Decatur, Indiana, Teresa Mendoza of Decatur, Indiana and Martin Mendoza of Ft. Wayne. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
