He is survived by: his wife Maureen Thompson; his children, Kenneth Thompson, Lucinda Thompson and Tammy Thompson Ploof; his siblings, Tommy Thompson (Patsy), Phillip Thompson (Linda) and Emily Ford; and his stepchildren, John Montgomery, Cheryl Keith and Peg Nixon. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
