He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Nethery and Clara Nethery; his son Homer Ray Nethery; and his grandson Aaron Nethery. He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his children, Ross Nethery, Tommy Joe Nethery and Dana Nethery; his stepsons, Wayne Edwards, T. C. Harmon and Michael Dickens; and his sisters, Elaine Philpott and Sharon Beauchmp. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
