He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Sears and Gola Sears; and his siblings, Malta Moore, Shelby Sears, James Sears, Sylvia Latham and Erma Sears.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Oleta Sears; his son Christopher Sears (Michael Polk) of Palm Springs, CA; his siblings, Edward Sears of Shepherdsville, Patie Edwards of Clifty, KY and Wendell Sears of Lewisburg, KY; and his brother-in-law Virgil Coe of Georgia.
