He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Saylor and Bobbie Lou Saylor. He is survived by: his children, Leaira Miller (Dustin) and Clay Edward Saylor II (Sam); his grandchild Kruz Miller of Gabe Miller; and his siblings, Ray Saylor (Suzie), Frank Saylor (Sheila), Jeff Saylor (Bonnie) and Mary Andello (Tim).

Memorial donations in Clay's honor may be directed to Hosparus of Louisville.
