It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christine Kay McDonald (Shepherdsville, Kentucky), who passed away on May 1, 2020, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husbands, William Simpson, Franklin "Frankie" McDonald and James Leddington; her parents, John Nation and Christine Nation; and her sister Teresa Pierce.
She is survived by: her children, Maria Gambon (James) of Shelbyville, Christopher McDonald of Shelbyville, Carla McDonald (Nick) of Shepherdsville and Carl McDonald (Brooke) of Shepherdsville; her stepdaughter Tina Robinson (John) of Frankfort; and her siblings, Pat Branham, Brenda Brown of Cox's Creek, Charlotte McDermott of Radcliff, Debbie Nation of Middletown, Jerry Nation of Middletown and Sissy Kirchhubel of Cox's Creek. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and many other loving friends.
