We are sad to announce that on October 4, 2020, at the age of 92, Charles W. Phillips of Shepherdsville, Kentucky, born in Keystone, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Phillips and Ida Bell Phillips; his former wife Nellie Chambers Phillips; his daughter Debra Darland; and his siblings, Clarence, Ballard, Herchel Phillips and Phyllis Lowery.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Phillips; his children, Michael Phillips, Charlene Phillips, Teresa Kemp (Mark), Karen Blaker (Michael) and Daylin Smith; his stepdaughters, Margaret Bamman and Carol Smith Millard (Michael); and his sisters, Irene Napier and Barbara Reeves (Chuck). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren.
