He was predeceased by: his father Clarence Howlett; his wife Helen Howlett; and his son Dale Howlett. He is survived by: his daughters, Melinda Stivers (Tony) and Lisa Bennett (Roger); and his sisters, Lucille Bishop and Mildred "Pokey" Bishop. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
