It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda Faye Hansel of Shepherdsville, Kentucky, who passed away on March 1, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Thomas and Mary Lorene Long Peters; and her sister Beverly Smith. She is survived by: her husband Elmer Dallas Hansel; her sons, Timothy Hansel (Carrie) of Shepherdsville, Bradley Hansel (Eli Miller) of Bardstown and Lee Hansel (Tracy) of Shepherdsville; her grandchildren, Michael, Cory, Madison, Zachery and Carter; her great grandchildren, Landon and Ca'leah; her siblings, Aline Flanagan (Louis) of Lebanon, Wilma Hax (Ron) of Richmond, Michigan and William Thomas Peters, Jr. (Helen) of Saint Joe; and her brother-in-law Reuben Smith of Bardstown.
Due to covid-19 restrictions, the funeral home is limited to 50 % occupancy, face coverings are required, and food and drink are prohibited.
