He was predeceased by: his parents, William Grider and Ruth Grider (Coffey); and his brothers, Gene Grider and Mike Grider. He is survived by: his wife Rita Koehler Grider; his daughter Jennifer Lynne Cox (Christopher Calvert); his granddaughter Chevelle L. Cox (Antonio W. Jefferson); his great grandchildren, Jasmine, Layla, Antonio "Baby Tony", Amiri and Kody; his siblings, Glenda "Dena" Winkler and Larry Grider; his sister-in-law Patty Grider; and his son-in-law Gregory S. Cox.
