She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Morton Ray, Sr.; and her parents, Carl Simpson and Effie Simpson. She is survived by: her children, Linda Mattingly (Jerry) of Louisville, Libby Thornhill of Shepherdsville and Charles "Chuck" M. Ray, Jr. of Shepherdsville; her brother Carl "Bubby" Simpson (Jeanie) of Falls; and her grandchildren, Charles H. Ray, Beth Frame, Megan Sharp, Alicia Ray, Larry Thornhill, Jr., Bethany Mattingly and Hunter Mattingly. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren; additional family members and friends.
