It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jean Kurfis (Shepherdsville, Kentucky), born in Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on March 15, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sherman Miles and Sadie Mae Miles; her siblings, Joseph, Donnie Miles and Florence Miles; her grandson Billy Hughes; and her aunt Francis Redmon.
She is survived by: her husband Larry Kurfis; her children, Ken Hughes (Mary Ann), Debbie Miller (Ricky), Donna Masden (Gary), Laura Adcox (Dicky), Bobbi Kennell (JT) and Keith Hughes (Lisa); and her granddaughter Billie Jean Masden. She is also survived by 31 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
