She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph David Hutchins and Mary Veronice Hutchins (Simms); her brothers, Joe, Sid and Carl Hutchins; and her great grandchild Blake Thompson.

She is survived by: her husband Ted Metzger Sr.; her children, Ted Metzger (Regina York), Phil Metzger (Jenni), Jack Metzger (Kim), Donnie Metzger (Sharon), Kenny Metzger (Vickie) and Tim Metzger; and her siblings, Jim Hutchins (Betty) and Alice Adamson. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
