It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Acel Elam of Shepherdsville, Kentucky, who passed away on October 12, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son James Elam; her husband James Elam; her parents, Jonah Ison and Ollie Ison (Raleigh); and her siblings, Janis Caudill, Coeburn, Denzil and Odestal Ison.
She is survived by: her daughter Janis "Belinda" Rarie (Jerry) of Georgia; her brother Ailon Ison of Alabama; and her grandchildren, Calvin Rarie (Raila), Daniel Rarie (Sara), Patrick Elam and Christina Savage (Chris).
