He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Kennedy Murphy; his children, Melanie Murphy, Hayley Murphy, Lee Murphy of Shelbyville, Matthew Murphy of Shelbyville and Stuart Murphy of Shelbyville; his sisters, Tammy McNew of Columbus, IN and Marilyn Broughton (Mike) of Shelbyville; and his grandson Anderson Murphy of Shelbyville.
