He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucien Hunter, Sr. and Ophelia Harrison Cowen; and his sister Jacqueline Cowen. He is survived by: his daughter Shawntez Tinsley; his grandson Ivan Hunter; his wife Cathleen Lewis Hunter of Shelbyville; his son Stephen W. Hunter, Jr. of Louisville; his stepdaughter Stephanie Thomas of Shelbyville; his brothers, Greg Hunter, Sr. (Marla) of Shelbyville, William Cowen of Arlington, TX and Lucien Hunter, Jr. (Kim) of Shelbyville; his granddaughters, Edbony Thomas and Janese Thomas; and his great grandchild Kayonna Peach. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
