It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Barnes (Shelbyville, Kentucky), who passed away on October 27, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Jo Barnes and Robert Barnes, Sr.; and his brother George "Oats" Barnes. He is survived by: his son Chris Ray Barnes; his sister Joanne Barnes; his children, Steven Barnes of Shelbyville, Bobbie Carol Barnes Lara (Martin) of Eminence and Kimberly Sue Jones (Bobby); his significant other Sharon Jones of Shelbyville; and his siblings, Linda Barnes of Shelbyville, Wilma Barnes of Prospect, Johnny Barnes of Carrollton, James "Ben" Barnes of Carrollton and Marvin "Nuckles" Barnes of Bedford. He is also survived by six grandchildren; one great-grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
