He was predeceased by: his parents, Mark Junie and Lucille Samuel Richard; his husband James Williams; and his siblings, Mark Howard Richard, Steve Richard and Linda Lue Cox.
He is survived by: his daughters, Christy Adams (Rodney) of Shepherdsville, Misti Downs (Jason) of Shepherdsville, Andrea VanMeter of Shepherdsville and Amanda Richard of Louisville; and his siblings, Kenny Richard of Shelbyville and Anita Grisby (William) of Shelbyville. He is also survived by his eleven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Hall-Taylor Funeral Home of Shelbyville Sunday (1185 West Main Street Shelbyville, KY 40065).
