With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nancye Waters Taylor of Shelbyville, Kentucky, who passed away on January 27, 2023 at the age of 102. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Nathan and Kitty Lee Watts Waters; her husband James Burton Taylor; her son John Scott Taylor; her grandson John Scott Taylor, Jr.; and her pet Angel.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Nancy Derry of Alvaton. She is also survived by her numerous friends, nieces, and nephews.
COVID was rampant on the day she observed her one-hundredth birthday, so her friends organized a parade to pass by her house.
