She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Thomas and Emily Carter Hedges; her spouse Helburn Butler Woods; and her sons, Michael Woods and Helburn "Buck" Woods.
She is survived by: her sons, Larry Woods (Brenda) of Shelbyville and Richard Thomas Woods (Denise) of Shelbyville; her daughter-in-law Pam Woods of Shelbyville; her siblings, Carroll Hedges of Port Arthur, Texas and Lois Lawson of Simpsonville; and her grandchildren, Shane Woods, Kim Kost, Shannon Woods, Paula Woods, Cammille Brundage, Charlene Witt, Melissa "Missy" Durham and David Witt. She is also survived by her twenty-one great-grandchildren and her three great-great-grandchildren.
