With heavy hearts, we announce the death of McGowan Delores Kemper (Shelbyville, Kentucky), born in Lockport, Kentucky, who passed away on January 27, 2020 at the age of 84. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Thomas Kemper and Martha Ellen Aldridge Hughes; her husband Lowell Spencer McGowan; and her siblings, Gary Kemper and Jeanie Woodward.
She is survived by: her son Kim McGowan (Sue) of Shelbyville; her sister Judi Semones (Gary) of Frankfort; her granddaughter Rebecca Abbott (Tom) of Shelbyville; and her stepgrandchildren, Rachel Webb (Lee) of Lexington, Anna Barrickman (Chris) of Shelbyville and Shane Watts (Janal) of Shelbyville. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
