She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Davis and Fannie Elizabeth Davis (Helm); her husband Jesse W. Poe, Sr.; and her son William L. Poe. She is survived by: her children, Donna S. Marshall of Shelbyville, Joann Hambleton (Cleve) of Mannsville, Kentucky, Ronny Poe (Brenda) of Carrollton, Kenny Poe of Carrollton, Jesse Poe, Jr. (Alberta) of Shelbyville, Maurice Poe (Cheryl) of Shelbyville and Russell Poe (Angela) of Shelbyville; her siblings, Mary Foster of Carrollton, Betty Sherman of Carrollton, Debbie Payne (Harry) of Baltimore, Maryland and James Foster of Carrollton; and her daughter-in-law Jane Poe of Smithfield, Kentucky. She is also survived by twenty grandchildren; fifty-one great grandchildren; and seven great great grandchildren.
