He was predeceased by: his parent David Tyler. He is survived by: his parent Edith Thorn Marshall Long; his wife Claudette H. Long; and his children, Robert David Ethington of Shelbyville, Marshall Tyler Long of Shelbyville, Matthew Thomas Long (Staci Lea Long) of Shelbyville and Hannah Dea Ethington of Shelbyville. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; brother; sister-in-law; and several nieces and nephews.
