Margalee Park Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Margalee Park of Shelbyville, Kentucky, born in Chicago, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 20, 2024 at the age of 85. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Reed and Edith Tate Reed; her husband Orville E. Park; and her daughter Jana L. Jennen. She is survived by: her sons, Jon E. Park (Tracey) of Mt. Eden and Kevin P. Park (Amy) of Venice, FL; her son-in-law Chris Jennen of Lee's Summit, MO; her siblings, Barbara Patrick (Gleason) of Dawson, IL and Russell Reed (Maggie) of Indianapolis, IN; her grandchildren, Matthew, Jaron, Jenny, Ashley, Sarah, Allyson, Katie, Ryan and Sydney; and her great grandchildren, Jovie, Kenley, August, Noble, Lincoln and Lux. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 23rd 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Eastview Baptist Church (2277 E Black Ave, Springfield, IL 62702). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 23rd 2024 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, October 23rd 2024 at 1:15 PM at the Camp Butler National Cemetery (5063 Camp Butler Rd, Springfield, IL 62707).
