It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marcella L. Myatt of Shelbyville, Kentucky, who passed away on February 15, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Franklin and Alma Lee Goodman Lanter; and her husband George Woodie Myatt, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Debra Denise "Debbie" Myatt Hildreth (James) of Peabody, Massachusetts and Richard Craig Myatt, Sr. (Dolly) of Shelbyville; her grandchildren, Richie (Crystal), Justin (Kim), John (Adam), Natalie (Steven), Nathan, Benjamin (Olivia) and Maria (Ryan); and her great grandchildren, Keegan, Tempy, Raylan, Shelby, Henry and Willa.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Hall-Taylor Funeral Home of Shelbyville Sunday (1185 West Main Street Shelbyville, KY 40065). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Hall-Taylor Funeral Home of Shelbyville Monday (1185 West Main Street Shelbyville, KY 40065).
