It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Hobbs Sr. of Shelbyville, Kentucky, born in Jeffersontown, Kentucky, who passed away on June 15, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, David Hobbs and Lina Duncan Hobbs; and his siblings, Elsie Mansfield, Elwood Hobbs and James Hobbs (June Hobbs).
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Hobbs of Shelbyville; his children, Timothy Bernard Hobbs of Louisville, Leslie Solomon of Huntsville, AL, Gerald Lynn Hobbs of Frankfort, Jo Ann Hobbs of Middletown and Joseph Dennis Hobbs, Jr. (Anna) of Bellevue, WA; his siblings, Bessie Moore and John Hobbs of Louisville; and his sister-in-law Anna Hobbs of Bellevue, WA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
