He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Hamilton Marshall and Jesse Marshall, Sr.; his wife Zoretta Brown Marshall; his sons, Leonard "Len" E. Marshall, Sr., Cornelius Bernard "Ekie" Marshall and Jesse Marshall III; his brother Charles B. Marshall; his stepmothers, Isabelle Beecham Hayes and Annie Turner; and his stepsister Wanda L. Marshall.
He is survived by: his children, Don Marshall (Pat), Cheryl Harkins, Vivian Marshall, Gregory Marshall, Gwendolyn Latham (Earnest), Cosetta Cardwell and Margaret Marshall; and his half-sisters, Effie Lou Marshall, Roxie Marshall, Flora Marshall, Mary Marshall and Johnnie B. Marshall. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
