He was predeceased by: his parents, Garner Dooley and Bertha Dooley; and his siblings, Anita Ann Lutes, Betty Lutes and Lloyd "Shot" Dooley.

He is survived by: his wife Jo Dooley; his children, Michael Dooley, Gina Nichols and Stephanie Collins; his sisters, Judy Stallings and Martha Baskett; and his grandchildren, Logan Dooley, Katie Dooley, Lacie Thomas, Anthony Collins and Conner Collins. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial Contributions in Jerry's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
