He was predeceased by: his wife Robin Sue Gordon Smith; his sister Deborah Hughto; his parents, David Gordon and Ruby Gordon; and his father-in-law John David Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Monica Faye Gordon Miller of Bowling Green, KY, Jamie Betancourt (Anthony Betancourt), Christy Deaton (Brian Deaton) and Christopher Cornett of Shelbyville, KY.; his brother Jim Gordon of Oregon; and his siblings-in-law, Tracy Smith of Shelbyville, KY and William David Smith (Debbie).
