He is survived by: his son Paul Abbott of Mexico City, Mexico; his nieces, Mary Beth Brewster of California and Anne Marie Harold of Indiana; his daughter-in-law Mary Shannon McGillen of Shelbyville; and his stepson Chris McGillen of Oklahoma.
